At Work Faith the mission is to come alongside those who have experienced hardship in the job search. Through Christ centered values and high quality training they assist those who have lost hope of getting a job regain confidence and put themselves out there

Upon arriving here in the US, immigrants and refugees face many obstacles to starting their new lives. One of the main ones being language. PLI comes alongside the immigrants and refugees and empowers them through education services such as English as a second language and career development services.

Being displaced from your home country is a very disorienting experience. You are then assigned to a country where most likely you speak little to none of their language, have zero family and don't understand cultural customs. So insert Houston Welcomes Refugees. They mobilize passionate and caring volunteers who help to make the resettlement process easier.

There are many obstacles that immigrants and refugees face upon arriving, but also just in every day life once settled here. Echos focuses on providing food fairs, assistance with applying for benefits, registering to vote, financial assistance with rent and utilities and healthcare screenings/mobile clinics.

Most refugees and immigrants don't have access to typical banking services and are not familiar with how these processes work here in America. At People's Trust it is their mission to come alongside families and help them to achieve financial prosperity.
